Everyone wants to know if Internet TV, where you can watch TV Internet, is real or a scam. So I did some research. After reading various Windows Internet TV forums and reading about the various products (see links below)…
…I finally decided to get Windows TV, thinking I could get my money back, so I ordered SatelliteDirect
Slightly disappointing at first, but then as I got the hang of it (after 15 minutes or so) and after I found some good channels (from both the U.S. and around the world), I realized tv for your pc is fun. For example, I watched the major networks (CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX, etc.) using Satellite Direct’s Windows PC TV product with success and then I watched news from New Zealand. That was fun! Being able to watch TV from around the world… but it’s not like watching cable TV or satellite TV on your regular television, where you can easily flip from one channel to the next. Some of the channels are off-air, not broadcasting for one reason or another, so you have to search and bookmark (add as a favorite) the channels that are on-air and that you like.
So my point is, once you learn how to use the TV software (Windows 7 and Vista) and once you locate the television networks, channels, and movies that you like to watch, it’s awesome! I especially enjoy watching free movies and television from around the world.
